Booking Terms and Conditions
The terms that apply when you book a tour with Kathmandu City Tour: payment, prices, cancellations, weather changes and your responsibilities.
We've kept these terms as short and clear as we can. If anything isn't clear, just ask!
Booking and payment
When you book on this website, you'll receive a booking reference by email. Your booking is confirmed once we email you a confirmation. You can pay online by card where the website offers it, or as agreed with us in writing.
Prices
Prices are in US dollars per person and depend on the size of your group. They include what's listed under "Included" on each tour page, and nothing else. Entrance fees, meals and tips aren't included unless the tour page says so.
Cancellation by you
Unless the tour page says otherwise, you can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before the start time. If you cancel later than that or don't turn up, the tour price isn't refunded.
Cancellation or changes by us
We may need to change or cancel a tour because of weather, strikes, road closures, flight cancellations or other events outside our control. If we cancel, we'll offer you another date or a full refund.
Mountain flights, helicopters and paragliding
These depend on the weather and on the operator. If the operator cancels, you can move to another date or receive a full refund.
Your responsibilities
Please be on time at the pickup point, follow your guide's safety instructions and respect local customs at religious sites. We also recommend travel insurance that covers activities such as hiking, biking and flights.
